Like 50 acres or more. What surrounding areas can I do this in? I really want a lot of land. I've heard of 50 acres for 150k where does that exist. I need help finding these types of areas because I am in a different state planning on moving soon.

The closest areas I can think of where you can buy 50 acres for 150k would be Lancaster or York Counties in SC.

Did you come into some money recently? I seem to remember you saying earlier you could only afford about $600/month in rent.

But anyway, I just did a quick search and was surprised that there were actually some listings similar to what you described, just not very close by obviously:

54 acres in Jefferson, SC (about 50 miles away) for $105K: 966 Jimmy Knight Rd Jefferson SC - Home For Sale and Real Estate Listing - MLS #944512 - Realtor.com®

51 acres in Heath Springs, SC (also 50 miles away) for $110K: 51 Acs New Hope Rd Heath Springs SC - Home For Sale and Real Estate Listing - MLS #996425 - Realtor.com®

You not being from around here means you need to establish yourself as a lawful buyer and meet with a local real estate agent... Even cheap rural land will have some restrictions you need to know.

You might be able to get that in northern or western Cleveland County or northwestern Lincoln County, but I wouldn't want to try to commute to Charlotte from those areas.
