The complex is along South Fork River, many apartments will have sunrooms, and some will have detached garages

Thanks Sunny, for the heads up !

I've always liked Cramerton/McAddenville/Belmont.

Here's the master plan. Hope it doesn't overwhelm the community:

This is a good idea, because Belmont is severely lacking in apartments. This is going to be particularly important once Stephen Cramer High School opens & Cramerton Middle school stops feeding Forestview High School.

Hello all,

My family and I are considering moving to Charlotte. I have a good job and am able to transfer to my company's Charlotte branch if I so desire.

Depending on the river, I wonder if its a good idea to build close to one. We live in San Diego now and are very close to a river. A few years ago it flooded and came pretty close to flooding our apartments, but thankfully fell short.

Do you think the river they are building these apartments near has the same potential?

I live in Cramerton, and no, the apartments are up on a hill probably 20-30 vertical feet higher than the river banks. The river would flood a ton of other places before the apartments.

Drove by there today on the way home. There are buildings on the site so they are moving along. I have not seen any pricing posted on the apartment hunting sites.
