Any Shelties, Border Collies owners?
This should be a fun event I hope I can learn some new ideas to even further my sheltie in more tricks and agility.
I think she will have a blast.
Historic Rural Hill
Sheep Dog Trials have been held in the United Kingdom since 1873 when the first formal trials were held in Bala, Wales. The trials are a competition in performance not conformation. The competition is based on daily tasks that the dog is asked to do on the farm. Points are allotted for each phase of the work and the team of dog and handler who can do the work with the most precision and in the time interval allowed will win the most points. The Trials are an open competition and any breed may enter. However, the only breed represented in previous Trials at Rural Hill has been the Border Collie.

I've had two shelties and loved them both. They had the best personalities. Sadly, due to allergies in the family, we had to find new homes for them. How old is your Sheltie?

she's beautiful! Our two females were traditional sables. It was very sad. I felt like I gave children away.

Thanks,
I can only imagine how hard it was due to this breed personalities.
The sheltie I had before he had sable hair and it was naturally curly lol maybe I have thing of finding shelties with quirks lol.
My next one I get I want a blue merle but I have to wait due to Indigo cannot be left alone with another dog without showing her other side.

I have 2 wonderful Shelties
These dogs are the best and often overlooked. I have a large Sheltie (57 pounds) Murphy, a male (age 7) and Madison (age 2, 17 pounds). They are tri colored (black, white, tan) and are inseparable. Such fun for us and for each other. I couldn't live without them.
We had 2 others before - also tri's.
I'll try to get a picture of Madison on here. She is so gorgeous.
