There is no xfinity (Comcast) in this area is there?

Nonetheless, I've found Time Warner to be pretty much equivalent to Comcast. Decent enough performance, but yeah the prices can be a little high. If you're looking at getting cable TV from them, the best deal is probably the triple play (and even if you don't want a landline, a lot of times the triple play is less expensive than getting just TV+internet). TWC is still miles better than MI-Connection though, so at least you're lucky enough to not live in the areas near Lake Norman where that is pretty much the only option.

Can someone explain why people think the fastest and arguably most reliable service shouldn't be the most expensive?
