Default Thoughts on Pineville?

Although my house is literally 1 mile from Ballantyne, we do have a Pineville address. I don't do much in the actual Pineville area, but went out for a leisurely drive yesterday and noticed lots of new development, especially going towards Lancaster Co. To me Pineville seems to be a midsize town w/ sort of a rural feel (drive through the old Pineville downtown and you'll see what I mean). But it looks like Charlotte just exploded and ran right into it

So what are your thoughts on this area and changes for the future?

It's been like that for as long as I can remember. I've always considered Pineville as just another part of Charlotte. It doesn't have the identity that Matthews has or other small towns on the outskirts of Charlotte. So you're right, although technically has town limits, is really just another part of Charlotte. You wouldn't know you were in another town if it wasn't for the signs.
