For those looking for Carowinds discounts, they are now running a special where you can get 4 tickets for $99.99. Looks like the sale runs to 7/3 and the tickets cannot be used on Saturdays.

Check out their website for the details CarowindsDOTCom.

I've heard (and would love someone to correct me!) that the lines are so insane when school is out that it simply isn't worth it to go... I get that you'll have to wait - but is the wait worth it when school is out?

Not sure how much for a 1 and 2 year old there is to do--due to costs (and attention spans). That being said, here is a link to their information page on that age range:

Carowinds Mobile

Hope this helps!

Ops--forgot to include, Burger King has discount tickets (as of last week) through their drinks (I think a medium or large drink gets you $15 off--check before you order, as it might vary with different locations).

Not worth it, even though they get in free. Though my 2-year-old had a blast last year, he was the size of a 6 year-old and could ride everything in the kids section.

If you buy your tickets online and print them out, you can use coupon code aaa10 and buy a regular ticket for $31.99 and a junior ticket for $21.99, two day for $51.99. Not sure when that code expires, but the code "ncfun" is good all season long. The only difference is with that code the price of the regular ticket is $34.99.
