URBAN_MOTHER is on a distinguished road
Default Young Mother of One

Hello
I'm a young African- American mother of a teenage male and I am think very hard about relocating to the Charlotte area. If anyone can give me information on the High Schools and teen activities in the area that would be a plus. As for myself I am a fashion designer, and would like to know of the different areas in Charlotte that cater to small businesses owners. I would also like to know of safe area's to live. I currently live in a traditional house but I would love to purchase a condo in a warehouse space..

Well, for a condo in warehouse space you would want to look in the Southend neighborhood (on the southend of uptown Charlotte). This is also an area of small businesses and shops. The next neighborhood over is Dilworth, which while not offering warehouse type condos does have nice condos and is also an area of small businesses like you are looking for. You will only be limited by your budget for housing
