Charlotte Pediatric Clinic, while not right in Ballantyne, is excellent. They have offices in South Park, Pineville and Matthews (about 10 minutes from Ballantyne). 704-372-7400. Drs. Cleveland, Shulstad, Golembe, Spell are all wonderful. I'm sure the other Drs there are also great - they carefully screen their drs.

I have 2 little ones & we've been seeing Dr. Matt Samarel with Kids 1st Peds since my oldest was about 18 months. he's great! he jokes around a lot, but isn't afraid to call in specialists when needed (my youngest has a LOT of food allergies) Kids First Pediatrics

we started at another ped's office when my oldest was born & it was ok, but nothing like kids 1st. it's a small practice & everyone from the administrator (Dr matt's wife) to the nurses & all of their peds are really wonderful, albeit very different from each other. they're right across the street from the Stonecrest shopping center.

I use Arboretum Pediatrics. There are many doctors there. So far, I have met 3 doctors and a nurse practictitioner. All have been very nice, and they are great at returning phone calls.

I second Kids First.
I haven't met Dr. Samarel yet, but have been with both my girls to Kids First (Dr. Smith) and love it. My one daughter has special needs, and they were great with her, and there has been a LOT of paperwork coming from school and other sources concerning her and they've been great with that as well, calling to be sure everything is the same since they saw her, checking to be sure their info is correct (since they have only seen her once!). FABULOUS.

Thumbs up Pediatrician Recommendation

Arboretum Pediatrics- Dr. Jamie Satterfield. My kids Dr. since birth- GREAT bedside manner!! Your kids will love him! And you will too. He's the best- hands down.
