Smile Moving to Charlotte

I am moving to Charlotte in about a year. I am a young single male w/o a ton of money to spend on a house. I do not need anything fancy just something decent in a safe area. I am from Memphis, TN which is now a very crime prone city. I am looking to get away from that type of area, I talked to a real estate agent but she seemed to be upselling me go figure right... So what I am asking is can anyone advise me on which areas are good. Its asking me for community and im not sure where i need to look or if i can get the zip codes of some good areas i can search like that any info would be appreciated.

My email is jfree79@gmail.com or leave a message on here. Thank you very much

Why are you moving to Charlotte? For a job, or appeal of the city? What are your interests? What's your price range? What's your occupation? Some times it's better to rent first until you find the area that appeals to you most.

You may want to give the search option a try as this same question is asked several, several times a week.

It really depends on what you like to do, where you will be working, and what your price range is. If you want close to Charlotte try to stay in Concord (Cabarrus Co) if you don't mind a 30-45 min drive to Charlotte then try Rowan County area. There are some really good buys. Foreclosures are a great way to go if you don't mind doing some work. If you have a price range in mind I would be happy to send you zip codes.
