Unlike the original poster... you don't have a leak you have a broken meter!!!
well we have the same problem as the original poster..we were told from UCPW union county water that we have a leak somewhere but we ruled out the sprinklers and now have to find a plumber
our bills for the 1st 3 months were between 78.00-88.00 and well I just a 186.00 water bill hence either a broken meter or a leak
Union County
2 adults 2 children
1 dog
irrigation front and back with drip thingies..lol however havent used them in quiet some time..
2 adults, 1 child, 1 slobbering dog. 3.5 baths if it matters. Usually $28-32 a month and $52 when I irrigate the backyard before the drought.(5 zones @ 30 minutes per zone, twice a week).
I think you've got a leak. I would start by replacing the flappers on your toilets. In August our water bill in Mecklenburg County was over $80. I changed the flapper in our MB toilet, and voila - back down to $35 in September.
