Well, I'm not here yet. So I can choose to settle wherever I'd like.

But to put it in perspective: I do have to drive about two hours for a decent grocery store where I live now. We have one about half an hour away, but it is poorly managed, overpriced, and has limited selection. Contrast that with having three brand-new Wegmans on my way to work where I lived previously. Living without amenities makes you do silly things sometimes.
