We are moving from Mint Hill and were looking to purchase a home in the Indian Trail area. We weren't impressed with the subdivisions along the 74 at all but I really really liked Fieldstone Farm, and it was within our price range (about 175k). However we have a relatively short time frame to find a house and our realtor said it could be awhile before a house in that neighborhood in our range comes available (and they go so fast! Ugh!). Anyway, we found a few houses we like in Hemby Commons, but it didn't have the same "neighborhood feel" to it. Anyone have any opinions on it? We are in our late 20's, have a two year old and one coming in September.

I've lived in FF for 7 years now, drive by Hemby Commons quite a bit but never heard anything about it. Also the house across the street from us is for sale I believe around $175k, 1005 Skillbeck Rd.
