Bluegrass in Charlotte (house, store, schedule)

We will have house guests visiting Aug 12-18. They are interested in hearing some bluegrass music. We are new to Charlotte and aren't in touch with the music scene. Is there someplace where we might hear this music?

I could be wrong but I think Road Traveler was trying to get you to Gold Hill, North Carolina (the link above is for Boulder, CO).

Anyway on Friday nights they have Bluegrass jam sessions over at the E.H. Montgomery General Store in Gold Hill.

I would call first to make sure they have music the day you plan to attend.
Would hate for you to make the trip and not get a chance to hear something.
