Gooing out to eat tonight and I misunderstood where we were going. Thought it was Buffalo Wild Wings (which has gluten free choices) but it's actually Wild Wing Cafe. Can anyone recommend anything I could eat there and be safe? HELP! THANKS!

I think you should call them directly and ask with such an important thing.

I'm confused as to why someone would post a question like this in an online forum instead of call directly. Chicken is gluten free anyway.

Yes, traditional chicken wings with braveheart sauce. Y'er welcome.

It is but not the breading/coating or sauces they use. And any suggestions you do get online, I would confirm by calling and confirm again when ordering.

It depends on how they make them. If they fry them in the same oil as breaded stuff, you will get cross contamination. Definately should call restaurant or show up with a backup plan. Some hostesses will give you the run around if you call and ask about gluten.

Choirchic, it looks like you might need to bring your own food (which I have done!). According to the link below Wild Wing Cafe does NOT have dedicated fryers, so everything is cross contaminated. Any chance that your dinner companions would choose another restaurant?

The OP was going to Wild Wing Cafe, rather than Buffalo Wild Wings.

Ack! You are correct. I couldn't find any thing online for Wild Wing Cafe. As other posters have suggested, your best bet is to call ahead. Sorry for the mix-up!
