The reviews there are good from further searching.
Can you recommend anything on the menu that is zero spicy and able to be identified by the naked American eye as to what it is?
(ended up with craw fish at Red Lobster one time after ordering tasty sounding "Danish lobster tails")
bulgogi is grilled steak and it's not hot by itself. Korean gives a lot of side dishes and those range from mild to hot.
It won't hurt to eat there!
We go to Cho Won a lot for lunch, I usually get the Bulgogi box. The Jayuk(?) Bulgogi is pork and comes in a nice BBQ sauce but I wouldn't call it spicy. The regular Bulgogi is beef and has a milder sauce. Comes with a delicious salad, vegetable tempura and dumplings. Delicious!!! Also in Super G Mart a little further up Independence there is a nice little Korean restaurant in the corner next to a Chinese Sweet Buns shop. Definitely need to try them as well.
Not to hijack the thread and yes, I know I could just google this perhaps, but whats another recommendation other than bulgogi @ the Korean place? I've tried bulgogi and liked it - want to try something a little more spicier, but not too out there for a Korean-cuisine-novice.

Thread hikacking can be overrated in many cases. If someone posts something and someone else can use it to run toward an answer, then good. I like to know what I'm eating. If I can not tell what it is by looking at it, I might pass it up. And go with a bowl of hot rice and a huge plate of Asian vegetables.
We can just let the guest partake of whatever Korean dishes they prefer.
Cho Won sounds like a #1 so we'll call them next week.
Pepero in Matthews is good. They don't have much description in the menu. I always eat the seafood pancake and bibimbap, bulgogi is good too. It's a restaurant within a grocery store unlike chowon garden.
