I am remodelling my kitchen and want to try to sell these pieces. I do not really want them to haul them away and then sell them or whatever they do with them. Is there anyone or any place that would buy them. Thanks

And if you decide to donate, Habitat for Humanity will take them (and you can take a tax deduction for charitable donation).

Really? That's a shame, sometimes they just need countertops and Corian is very nice! If you can't sell, maybe a salvage yard will take them. There's a couple in uptown.

Heck, Banjan, I need one length of corian in the kitchen in my mountain house, lol. Are we taking bids on those countertops??? My problem would be - how to find someone to cut them to length and finish the edges (and install a sink!).

I would think there is SOMEONE out there who could use at least part of those countertops!

You might post a picture and dimensions on FB - someone might have a spot.

Also, I might mention - if you have a garage where you could add a work table . . . you may be able to recycle part of the countertops that way.

The island is 8ftx2 ft 3ins, another piece is 2ft 1 1/2 by 4ft 7. Hope it makes sense. The other two are the sink and stove pieces. Not looking to make a fortune just do not want them to profit. I am paying them enough already.

I understand exactly how you feel! I can remember when I got a new dishwasher and was told the installer would haul my old one away for $50 . . . I thought - HUH? It is a working dishwasher - and he is going to get a $50 fee from me PLUS then take that one and sell it or use it for parts? Seemed really odd to me, but most of us don't have a truck . . . so . . . we pay the $50 an they get a freebie appliance, lol.

That is too bad about Habitat not being willing to take those countertops. I love corian. The nice thing about it is - even if it gets scratched, it can be repaired and buffed.
