Rental Cars (Charlotte, Dallas: university, taxes, live in)

Hey,

I am looking to rent a car until the end of December...is anyone familiar with any rental cars services that offer good low monthly rates? Or even a local dealer who would be willing to rent a car on the cheap for a month? I don't need anything fancy, just something to get around in.

Oh and I probably should have mentioned that I live in the University area, but picking up a rental in the city, airport or within 20 or so miles is no problem.

try hotwire.com I was in Charlotte last weekend for 3 days. I got a minivan from Avis for $8 a day plus taxes!! Ive used hotwire many times and always get good deals. The $8 a day was crazy though. Best deal ive ever had.

If you know your exact dates and pick up location...try priceline and name a ridiculous low price...I rented a car in Dallas using Priceline and named a price of 20$ a day. Hertz rented me an 07 midsize at that price..unlimited miles
