Last minute trip to Charlotte to explore areas to live
Hi all,
This forum has been extremely helpful and our family is really excited about making a move to Charlotte. My husband and I are making a quick trip this weekend to check out neighborhoods in both the Lake Norman and Union County areas. Any suggestions on Neighborhoods that can't be missed? We are looking to spend about 250-300k.
Thanks!!!!

If you have any free time, there's a thread in here on some things you might enjoy doing in the area. Good luck and have fun!!!

Yes, if you stay away from the NE area of Charlotte, you'll be fine (I'm less than 5 minutes from the track) . That's where the hub of the race traffic will be. The rest of the city shouldn't be a problem.

You have quite a few options in Union County -- try Hunter Oaks, Prescot, Quellin, Wesley Oaks, Callonwood, Cureton -- same comment as Charlotte agent, just let me know if you want to get into a house you see listed

They have some inventory homes and maybe a few lots left. Maybe I misunderstood PA Family -- I thought resales were an option as well.

Thanks everyone! Yes, resales are definitely an option. I'll check in after the weekend.
