Another Half-back
Yet another NY family that moved to Florida is now moving to NC. After 7 years in Florida, we've had enough! We made a visit to Union County a few months ago and fell in love. We put a contract on a house in Wesley Chapel and construction is on the way. The house should be done in Feb. and we'll be moving up in June. My wife is a teacher and my two girls (11 and 4) are in school so we figured we'd wait til summer. We were up about 2 weeks ago for our design center appointment and had the opportunity to meet some of our neighbors. We felt right at home. It's going to be difficult leaving Florida because I'll be leaving some family behind, but we are looking forward to a fresh start. We are also looking forward to meeting all the Yankees that are new to the area. For the record, Giants football and Mets baseball at my place. Also, if there are any UFC fans or mixed martial artists in the area, drop me a line and let me know the best places to train up there. Thanks everyone.

Congrats man. Im from flushing NY. I live in broward county fl. I'm looking to move to charlotte by next year. I dont watch baseball or football but im a ufc fanatic. I havent trained mma but im looking to start once i move up there.

Hope this time we all find what we were looking for. Seems like NC is a nice balance. Thanks for the link NC2STAY. A lot of good information. Lolliepopshelly, are you already living in NC or will you be moving there? Robz, hope to have another UFC fanatic up there!
