Hi there! We're house hunting and love this area. Looking at a home of McKee Rd. My only reservation is my daily commute ( morehead near South Blvd). I know this area is growing and not sure if there are future plans to relieve the traffic congestion on Providence? Wondering what its like for others and if you have alt routes besides Providence? Thanks!

It's trafficky but good news there are a lot of routes to get to uptown. But everyone else seem to take them too. You are going to run into traffic and delays. Especially if you try to take McKee to Providence, that particular road itself gets backed up with everyone trying to get to providence and 485. Plus you are south and east of where you are working. Your best bet is stay directly south or north or west of where you work. Did you like McKee area because of the shopping and suburb feel?

Traffic is going to be bad because hundreds of other people make that same commute. Try living closer to your place of employment if you can. Time is one thing you can never get back after you burn it.

I agree. You're probably going to hate that commute. I don't see it getting better any time in the foreseeable future.
