Nope... ball wasn't catchable therefore it wasn't pass interference. They could have called holding which would have given them a yarder and one more play but thank goodness they didn't.
You never hear Pats* fans apologizing when they get favorable calls or their defender mugs a player and they don't throw a flag.

Game over..
Time to cook some Dolphins....
It can't be holding because the ball was already in the air. Have to be PI. I still think the ball was close enough. Whatever , it was a close play and it went against the Pats... my point is the ref obviously saw the PI...it was a question of the ball being catchable and don't think it was completely clear it wasn't.

PI flags are picked up all the time when the ball is deemed uncatchable.
I'll let you get the last word on this because you r team lost but no one feels sympathy for Pats being on the other end of a 50/50 call.
It (The PI call) comes down to this: One ref saw the PI and tossed the flag. Another (Or the rest) saw where the ball wound up with relation to the receiver. (Under thrown and deemed uncatchable) The latter trumped the former. Simple as that.
Like Felt said, calls aren't always perfect. Refs are going to make make mistakes or miss something they didn't see that other refs picked up on.
If one referee possessed Imax vision, along with the ability to be everywhere on the field at the same time, there wouldn't be a need for the others.
