We are moving and have some furniture that we don't want and the Salvation Army won't pick up b/c the cushions on one couch have rips in them and the other couch has dog hair on it.
does anyone know who to contact to have bulk items like this picked up? We are within the Charlotte city limits, so wasn't sure if this was part of the trash services or not.
Thanks in advance!

call the crisis assistance ministry in charlotte. they are always looking for decent goods. their pickup email is furniture@crisisassistance.org and their phone number is 704-371-3001.

best thing about crisis assistance is that all the donated goods go to needy families rather than to stores to be sold.
