just wanted to say that we went into DT Mooresville on Friday evening at about 6.30. Quite a lot of people milling around and heading for Epic Chophouse,JJ Wasabis and (to a lesser extent as still early ) The bathtub Gin (which has live music- a mixture of music genres) and The Daily grind (Which is now open till 2 am 3 or 4 nights per week apparently). Hebrews coffee shop ( they marketed as a Christian coffee shop when they first opened, but don't see anything pertaining to this on their website now) had live music on.
FI- really cool store next door to Epic called Rugs and Relics
Rugs And Relics with handmade leather furniture, pictures, antiques and fab rugs plus jewelry and a nice range of perfumes/ candles etc. Unfortunate that some of the other stores haven't "caught on" ( antique stores, ladies boutique, black velvet patisserie, olive oil store) and stay open later - yet anyway.
I wonder why no one has done anything with the building on the opposite end of the block to Epic? Used to be a bar years ago- looks like the building might need major structural work though.
