Hello I heard that there is a new movie theater coming to town, has anyone heard about this and where will it be built? Not sure we need a new one.

That's pretty vague, where did you hear this rumor?

would you like to narrow down where this movie theater would be located within the 298 sq miles of Charlotte? Or are you confident that nowhere in this city could benefit from a new theater?

Movie theaters are everywhere in the Charlotte metro, and neighborhoods are being built everywhere as well. It's one of those things that when a new one is built, it doesn't make the headlines. Unless it's a super high-end one or IMAX, maybe then it would get mentioned. Strange to say Charlotte doesn't "need" another movie theater.

East Charlotte and Mint Hill need one. They're planning on having a movie theater as part of the planned Bridges at Mint Hill, but that's taking forever.
