I don't know why they closed down. We were just there last week and it was delicious. I was planning on going back.

Flat Rock closed down a while back. City Range was doing pretty well from what I saw. I dry by there at least 4 or 5 times a day, I'll have to check it out.

Flat Rock Grille is re-opening. It's in the classifieds as "being purchased from the original owners and re-opening" their looking to re-staff.
Stay Tuned.....

One of my coworkers said City Range was awful and wouldn't go back. There is a lot of competition in Ballantyne right now and people are not going out to eat as much with gas prices being as high as they are. That is really cutting into people's dining out budgets. Right now to survive, you better be at the top of your game.

We actually went to City Range during my relocation visit and the food and service were both really good. They had a varied selection on their menu so it was really easy for everyone to find something they liked. I am really big when it comes to service since I deal with people every day, and I have to say that I was pleased with the whole experience. It wasn't anything amazing but very few restaurants are to be honest. I thought they had good food and good service so can't really say I had any complaints.
The good thing is that there are so many restaurants around, I am sure that for every one that closes, there are many more waiting to take their place.

I was bummed when Flat Rock closed. We liked that place. City Range was practically the same type of place.
