I am trying to determine how bad traffic is on 85 south beginning at the University area and ending at Exit 33 - near the airport - during rush. I have got to get to an address off of W Tyvola (Cascade point) - mapquest has me taking 85S to the Billy Graham Parkway to Tyvola. Does that route make sense to any of you familiar with that area? Any back routes avoiding 85S. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

whoa..i work over there too..maybe we can carpool and take turns driving if you have to be to work at 8 am that would work as that is what time I have to be there. Traffic is not bad. Friday morning it took me 25 minutes to get to work. The day before it was 45 b/c of the rain (people dont know how to drive in the rain apparently) I take 85 to Billy Graham to W. Tyvola to Yorkmont right to the Coliseum Center Business Park area. I believe 18 miles is the distance and the traffic only slows down really on the billy graham b/c someone thought it would be practical to put stoplights on what is basically a highway. Where in the University Area do you live? If you live in the northern part by me then I'd be serious about carpooling, otherwise if you're down by the school then it might not work as the time to pick each other up would be too long, as traffic up and down harris sucks in the morning.
