I know this seems early, but the parades start in November. Tell us when your town has its parade. If you know about a Christmas parade in another town & no one has posted about it, go ahead. If there's something else, Christmas related, go ahead & post it here.

The biggest one here is the Carrousel Parade on Thanksgiving morning in Uptown Charlotte.

That's true. There are also dozens of smaller parades in the area.

Mooresville's Christmas Parade is the Tues. before Thanksgiving, 3:00 pm. on Main St. in downtown Mooresville.

Waxhaw's is the 3rd Sunday in December, which is the 15th this year.

Concord's tree lighting is during the evening on November 22nd. I believe the day after is the parade.

In Kings Mountain the children's Christmas tree lighting will be November 25th, in front of the library.

The Christmas parade will be at 3 pm on December 7th.

December 8th is the Christmas parade in Gastonia, from 2 - 4 pm, on West Franklin.

Rock Hill, SC has their Christmas parade on December 6th at 6:30. Usually a pretty good size event.

I used to love the parade in uptown, but it's really gone downhill in the last few years.
