Hello! I recently moved from out of state and I am wondering what the best resources are for finding rental homes. I have a family of 5 and would prefer a home over an apartment. I am trying to stay at 700.00 or under since my son's income would cover rent while I find work. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you!
It's the grim truth. Maybe an older 1940's 2 bedroom house in a "mill village" by the railroad or near the airport would rent for $700. Honestly even 2 BR apartments at $700 are not easy to do in Mecklenburg.
I am seeing a few around and have looked at some but the one I was hoping for...the landlord never returned my call. I had cash on hand at the viewing. Its too bad but I'm still looking. I might be able to go 750 but that is pushing it till I find income down here.
