Hello everyone, just checking before I come there in a couple of weeks to check things out. How is the weather so far? Is it just heavy rain headed your way?

Appreciate any info.

Thanks

Whatever is happening now won't necessarily have anything to do with what is happening in a couple weeks.

Check out weather dot com for the local weather here with zip of the hotel you are staying in. It has it in daily, weekly and monthly forecast etc.

Good luck on your trip.

This. Heck you can't even trust the weather more than a day or two in advance for the most part. Even today some people are saying snow in the afternoon, and some are saying no way. (I'm in the no way camp myself).

We've had rain and snow (hardly enough to even call it that) so far this morning with some pretty strong winds at times. If you don't like the weather here in NC, wait 30 minutes (okay, not entirely accurate, but we've got an ADD version of Mother Nature here).

Pack for spring and winter when you come. It'll probably be somewhere in the middle.

It really feels like "northern" Thanksgiving weather out there today.

It's quite normal for the first breezy, cold Canadian air mass to arrive within a few days of Thanksgiving. I don't view today as out of the ordinary. But I agree with the above poster, a cold (or warm) start to the winter does not predict what the rest of it will be like.

19 this morning in CLT, but it already has been even colder this month. And two days with light snow this month!
