Hi,
we are coming in Oct. to check out Charlotte. I are 80% sure are going to move there. I was wondering if there is a tour guide available to take you around the city and the neighborhoods? We love water so we are thinking Lake Norman or Lake Wiley. Any suggestions on guided tours?

A Realtor specializing in each area would be your best bet but they normally won't put in you their car unless you sign a buyer contract with them. But if you aren't planning on moving until Oct. you could sign a contract, get the free tours, then let it expire (or reward the hard working agent with your business).

Regardless, I would start with a Charlotte relocation website to narrow down where you want to look.

Probably not the best for checking out various neighborhoods for living, but you might want to check out the following.

It isn't to hard to figure out. I have seen some tour guided trips available but cant remember, I will look though. Get a map and a rental car and drive. This site will be great to review the hot spots and just map it all out. A realtor will be great for a single area.
