Money grows on trees in Mooresville. Check your trees in the morning!

Nobody needs a job. The few that do are aspiring rappers and only need to work for a few weeks, until their rap albulm gets a record deal.

EBT has everyone else covered.

Between free food and getting paid not to work, it's an awesome time to be a lazy, uneducated, unambitious high school dropout loser.

I'm so proud.

Probably get deleted as being political, but it's not meant to be. It's just truth. Things are a mess.

If you quit school, just remember 2 things:

1. You tried your best.

2. I don't like pickles on my Big Mac.

Yes I collect unemployment, my last job position of 5 years was outsourced to someone in India. My unemployment barely pays my bills, food is not an option. Lights, internet and phone (to job search) are essential as well as a roof over my head. I ditched cable, and everything extra. I have savings, but how long do you think that will last? I have been out of work for 5 1/2 months, everyday I job search. The time it takes searching for a job, completing the application, answering the employment test / survery is very time consuming. I spend no less than 7 hours per day. I would much rather have a job. Since you have all the answers, help us find a job. There are 1.5 million just like me accross the country. I'm glad you think it is so simple. Perhaps your job will get out sourced or downsized then you can join us

You are being offensive. You are using racially coded language to make your rant. Don't blame your problems on other people. Take care of your own life.

Seriously, life in Mooresville is not that deep.

ETA: Since you mentioned EBT, read this article from Time Magazine. It's a bit old but I'm sure the stats haven't changed much.

Interesting... probably saw a guy in a nicer car than his and went on a rant.

I'd like to see you go hungry, deciding between buying Macaroni to eat or gas to get to work, For nearly 2 years. No TV, no microwave, no table, no fun at all, nothing but trying to better your life with no one for financial help.

I'm currently back on my feet making good money and have an interview today for another job that will double my salary.

Food Stamps helped me & were a blessing, all I needed was a little help. Just a little help & it did. That $200 a month helped me sooo much to get back on my feet.

CCCP also was another great resource. Great community asset.
