Hey everyone,

With all the growth in Charlotte, I know a lot of the Engineering companies are being kept busy. My husband is a Surveyor, and we're looking at moving in Feb, or either June. Still haven't decided on that. Do you know of any surveying companies around that work with the builders? We're getting ready to start putting in resumes, and if we get a good offer we'll move sooner.

TIA,

Rosalyn

Hey there,
Out of my office (real estate) we tend to use individuals rather than companies. I'm not sure how the builders work it, but you could try their administrative offices to find out. Some of the builders out here: Centex, Ryan, Shea, Ryland, John Wieland, Orleans, Beazer, Bonterra, Brookwood, C.P. Morgan, D R Horton, David Weekley, Eastwood, Evergreen, HomeLife, K Hovanian, KB Home, Lennar, Mattamy, McCar, Mercedes, Niblock, Pulte, Saussy Burbank, Standard Pacific, Westport...there's even more, believe it or not

That's a good list to start with!! I've found a few websites of some companies. My husband actually had a offer from SchneiderCorp last year, but it came a week too late. They told him to contact them though when our year here in VA was up.
