Have y'all heard about Mr. Crowder having a heart attack? I am so sad and frustrated, all at the same time. Poor man. The stress most certainly didn't help I am sure of it.

The odds of this lawsuit being successful are somewhere between zero and nil. When Yercheck said on WBT that UCPS was sued regularly, he wasn't kidding. But yet...when was the last time you remember hearing about UCPS *losing* one of these lawsuits? Never, it never happens. The county has excellent attorneys that make a lot of money that don't lose.

Also, can someone please tell me what the point of this anti-redistricting rally was today? I saw pictures on Twitter of some people wearing those "My Child Is Not a Seat" shirts that they were advertising on some of the Facebook sites, is this just a money-making scheme at this point?

This is horrible news. Thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. He is currently at CMC Main, according to FB.

One last post sorry:

Saw they had a t-shirt selling booth at the rally *and* they were raising money for a legal fund. The goal is $175,000. Ah yes, let that number sink in. Making money by preying off desperate and confused parents...not cool.

my mom worked for a public school district for years, they were sued often too. I think it just not something people talk about etc. What I am saying is it is not uncommon, nationwide

Wow. How terrible that this man passed away in the midst of his name being dragged through the mud. I am so sad for his family - to know that he passed during such a time. Just terrible. He is at peace now. I am done with this whole redistricting drama. It has simply gotten far too out of hand.

The attacks on Mr. Crowder and others on the BOE have been a sad testament to the caliber of people that are orchestrating this whole debacle. They really have the appearance and attributes of a psychotic mob.
