Great question, you should ask the BOE... If you really care that is

Does anyone think some of this anger/angst/energy needs to get vented towards the municipal and county planning boards? Seems that everything stems from that assclownery!

Well...some of the FB slamming is, at times, warranted. Not all, but some. Truth does get muddled at times on here, I must agree.

Yeah Mike...I hate my kids. We all do. The BOE hates them too and wants them all to fail miserably and leave the county so they can develop their land and sell it for profit.

Also, I also don't believe when people say they will pass by their old school or sometimes 2 other schools in going to their new school. I guess if they take a crazy route they could force this to happen, but I am pretty sure that will not be the bus route.

Maybe I am totally wrong. But I have lived in UC for quite a while, and driven on these "dangerous" roads a long time. I don't see how that could happen.
Well my friend...here's the facts..I live 3.2 miles from Cuthbertson, 3.4 miles from Weddington, 4.8 miles from Sun Valley, 8.4 miles to Marvin and 8.6 miles from Parkwood. Would you like to guess where my kids have been forced bussed to?

There you go. That's probably why we disagree so much.

Absolutely...There's plenty of blame to go around. Look at what Indian Trail did just this week. Look at who approved Milbridge, with zero regard as to where these kids are going to school. That's why there needs to be an county wide APO or impact fees. It is evident that these local yokel towns can't be trusted to keep their powder dry. The really sad part of this, is that there's more open space in the county that is going to get devoured up and built out. This forced busing plan is just the tip of a very nasty iceberg. The old saying "Its happened before, it will happen again" rings really true. Until somebody turns off the permit spigot, we will be force busing until Farmer Ted's cows come home and he sells out to Niblock.

I can support stopping that kind of assclownery!

jrob, unfortunately, jlat's situation is true along with several other neighborhoods. The boundaries and growth along the northwest of the county (Waxhaw, up to Marvin, NE to 74, and everything in between) pushes everyone else south and east. Same reason raithfan is pushed to Parkwood, too.
