Mecklenburg County, NC - Digital Health Department

77.5 then reinspected and got a 68. A grade of lower than 70 is an automatic closure.

The one on Carowinds had it about two weeks ago!! We were surprised, as they've never had it before.

The only problem I have with this that the automatic closure is 70 it should be at 80!!!!

Default Groove, not meaning to hijack your thread . . .

but since we are talking sanitation ratings here . . . FlyingS said - why wait to close at 70 . . . and it got me thinking . . .

I looked at the link you posted (Groove) to look up some of my favorite restaurants . . . and lots had ratings b/n 90-93, wh/ really really surprised me, b/c I try to check out posted ratings (in the restaurants) and avoid eating anywhere w/ lower than a 95. Shock - I have been eating at establishments w/ lower than 95 ratings.

Just wondering . . . should one be concerned if the rating is 90-93? For ex., one restaurant I like got cited b/c of raw food being placed on top of cooked food. EEEEWWWWW - especially if that raw food is meat.

Or am I just being too uptight about this?

When people was posting their favorite NY like pizza restaurants most of the ones they posted had below 95 rating and it was serious stuff like the storage of raw foods, ants and flies wet pans being stacked together etc.
