These pictures from the Observer have me VERY excited for baseball season to get here!
Those backdrop views from home plate have to be some of the best in any minor league park (or major league for that matter) in the country. Very, very awesome.
Time to look into some sort of season ticket package!
The first time in 6 years I have had a regret about leaving Charlotte. Damn, I can see where I used to work, the exact office, in the first picture. Oh well. Good luck with the downtown Knights!
Interesting fact: this stadium has the smallest foot print of any AAA stadium. Picher is 60 feet 6 inches from the batter. Closest seat is 45 feet from the batter.
Going to be a fun place to watch. I just hope the food and beer prices stay the same as they were in Fort Mill. I'm afraid its going to be priced like the Panthers...can't afford to go even with a free ticket...

I hear ya. We love going down to Kannapolis to see a game and their food/drink prices are very reasonable, makes for a cheap family outing, hoping for similar in Charlotte.
Looks good. Can't wait to watch a baseball game Uptown!
