I have two vinyl windows that have fogged. I looked into getting the window fixed by having it "defogged" where they drill holes etc, but found out that's not really a long term fix. So I am being told I have to replace the glass. I guess the entire unit, on the part that is fogged. I have double hung windows, the bottom pieces are clear it's just the top piece that fogged. Anyone have any idea how much this should run per window? one window 29 wide 36 inches long other one is 33 wide x 31 long. approx measurements. I've seen prices from 280 to 800 apiece...that's quite a stretch.

Seal is bad. Not the entire window, just the glass. Basically each section is 2 peices of thin glass sealed together. When a seal leaks or goes bad you get condensation in the middle. The glass section is easy to pop out. Just need to remove the vinyl strips around the window (I used a small flat head screw driver) and it falls right out. You will need to send the dimensions to a glass company so they can make and seal a new glass section for you, etc.
