We just sold our home in Cornelius and need to find a rental home ASAP. We are looking for a 3 bedroom home, under $2000/month in or near Eastover. Ideally, we will find a townhouse (and if we are really lucky, a single family home). Any suggestions on where to look? I feel like we have searched everywhere!

Thank you for reading and responding. Unfortunately, we really need to stay under $2000. Hopefully, we will find something else (and fast!).

Maybe ask your listing agent for help?

I did see a house for rent at the corner of Circle Drive and Alberto, but can't recall who the listing company was. Houses in Elizabeth and Eastover have been selling very quickly, so there isn't much incentive to rent them. There is a good amount of rental condos and townhomes in Elizabeth especially but most of them are one and two bedrooms. It's not clear how you are looking, but lots of the rentals just post a sign in front and you won't necessarily find them available online. There are all those new apartments on 7th Street, just before you get to the restaurant Lupies, but I don't know how many bedrooms they have. You might also expand your search to Chantilly (between Elizabeth and Independence Blvd) but again the "drive around" method probably will serve you best.
