I won't consider hiring any more kids from LNHS.
Constantly being arrested and expelled for drugs and DUI.

Nice parenting. Hope your material possessions are worth it.
Thanks for the drain on society your inmates will create.

Epic thread here..... Not excusing the high school kids, but do you also stereotype entire groups of people as well?

No, no, knock it off.

I want to see where this goes.

I figured out what the "curse" is...

A terribly pessimistic negative attitude about life in general, lolz.

The term currently in vogue is affluenza. It affects their parents too.

i have spoken about this in a post a few years ago but i do understand his concerns. When i used to hire in mooresville i ran into the same problem. There was alot of the applicants that would fail drug tests. What was frustrating was that it clearly said on the application that if they do drugs then there is no need to apply. i wasted alot of time on these kids.

Without a lot of business savvy too! It's not smart to p*ss all over the people in the area who he should be courting as customers. I know that my family will never spend a penny in that store.

My son graduated Lake Norman last year and I can say that there are some great kids and teachers at the school. He was well accepted even though he'd come from outside the USA and was happy and did well (better than he would have done had he still been in the UK) in his education there. He isn't sporty but had plenty of opportunity to do other things he was good at and enjoyed eg languages and culinary competitions and voluntary work as a member of the FCCLA.
I think we heard about one incident of a child being impaired due to drugs whilst at school and they weren't from an affluent family.
Don't let's tar everyone with the same brush.

Just hand grenades.

We're all so distracted. Too many parents who don't know what their kids are doing.
I'm glad I pissed you off.

These drug addicts and meth cooks look like the sweet little kids in your family photos.
The most recent one is 17 and the photos on his FB page show an innocent little 15-year-old.

Now he has multiple drug charges. He's screwed.

But at least his mother and step dad had some laughs.
