The only area of Cornelius that is a little sketchy is by the Cashions gas station off of exit 28 heading into downtown Cornelius on Catawba Ave. Pretty much in between Hwy. 21 and good ole Sayeeds. Heritage Green is a considerable distance away from that area--2-3 miles driving and maybe 1 mile the way the crow flies.

Totally agree, and even those people keep to themselves. Victoria Bay accross the st have very few issues-- I think that area close to them is poor but not dangerous.
I'll keep in touch about that house, CG!

Yeah, I agree and meant to add in my post that I would probably walk around at night in that area. So yeah, poor, but not necessarily crime ridden. But I have seen some interesting characters around there.

Here is the latest MORONIC thing Heritage Green HOA is promoting:
Heritage Green Yard Makeover Contest:
Categories:
Neatness
Creativity
Classic
Tropical
The Perfect Lawn
Most Improved
Harvest Theme
Toilet Bowl Champion
Yep, you read right--the toilet bowl champion! This is for the yard that looks the crappiest. So, they are actually encouraging trashy yards. Doesn't surprise me in the least...

Check with the police to see what reports have been filed. Also , GlenRidge has a lot of investor-owned homes , which can adversely affect the home valus there.

Mr. Gandy,
I can't dispute this fact with you. Most of the homes in Glenridge look like they're falling a part. I'm not sure if this is because of shoddy craftsmanship or failure to maintain the homes. Probably a combination of both.
