Hi,
I wanted to know what to expect as far as having to pay for parking in Uptown Charlotte. I'll be working in the BOA building on E. Morehead.

Take the train if you are on the south side of town.

If you park on Morehead by the overstock it is 2.50 a day, that is about the cheapest you will find.

Parking ranges from 2.50 to $25.00 a day.

The parking around morehead/ tryon ranges from 2.50 - 5.00 a day

Not sure which building you are working at, but from morehead to Wachovia is approx .4 off a mile of take the free gold rush when raining.(raining????)

I live Uptown and in that area around Morehead St you should not have trouble finding cheap parking. Now the Wachovia Tower that is closer towards the square is about $160 a month. So the closer in the price goes up. ALot of people though park in the area around Morehead St and walk into Uptown and save money. Smart move.

You work on E. Morehead? Most of the businesses right around there have onsite parking. What's the cross road intersection?

I haven't started yet but it's 831 E. Morehead. Do employers usually offer free parking in their building?

The larger ones may pay for some of it. But E. Morehead will be cheap.

Are you going to be working for Bank of America? If so they have programs in place and recommended lots as well. Otherwise, there are several lots, daily parking and monthly parking. I recommend getting the montly parking in a covered lot if you can. There are Trollys and Light rail pretty close to you.
