Please remember: Watch what you ask for!!!! To warm right now, but watch out if you start wanting more Christmas type weather. We were living in Denver, Colorado last year at this time and a lot of people were wanting a "white Christmas" and they got a BLIZZARD!!! It was called the Holiday Blizzard and we had 3 feet of snow on our lawn in Parker, CO. Snow was piled up higher than our Dodge Durango. We have photos of that. But, as many folks wanted.......we did have a "white" Christmas.

I love it!! It was warm enough for me to put all of my Xmas decorations outside.

I'm okay w/ the cold also if it has to come.

Strange weather we are having ... I love it but everything is so darn dry.

In December 2002, Charlotte was hit by a massive ice storm that knocked out power to over 1.2 million Duke Power customers. According to a Duke Energy representative: "This ice storm surpasses the damage from Hurricane Hugo in 1989, which had 696,000 outages." During an abnormally cold December, many were without power for more than two weeks.

I remember one Christmas in Detroit around 1983-84 it was 65 degrees. Even with the change of seasons in Charlotte and as much as I usually hate snow, it would be nice for a little dusting on 12/25.

I agree w/you on that. Seeing the lights on the trees and bushes w/80 degree weather doesn't seem right for some reason.....

give me a tidy little dusting on Christmas though...

Default Not at all

This crazy weather is making me a Scrooge this year I just can't get in the Christmas spirit at all. I went to the South Park Mall on my lunch break and saw women in shorts. That's just not normal at all! I'm ready for some cooler weather and some snow this year would be nice too! It was HOT for months. I want winter. I like McAdenville when you have to blast the heat with the windows down. You're supposed to take carriage rides in the cold with a blanket so you can snuggle! Bah Humbug!
