He will work at:

10840 Ballantyne Commons Pky
Charlotte, NC 28277

He'd like to be within 15 minutes or less, if possible.

I actually meant street names for homes you are interested in that you wonder about near Ballantyne

Ballantyne does not always = expensive. It depends on what you're comparing it too I suppose. The CC is more high priced, but the neighborhoods around it vary. I consider our development to be Ballantyne and we're probably 200k - 300k (nowhere close to the Ballantyne CC).

Specifically, what neighboorhood (division) are you looking at?

You should only really say that you live "in" Ballantyne if you live in Ballantyne Country Club. Otherwise you live in the Ballantyne "area". There is a difference. You can't go wrong with anywhere in that area really.

There are some low-priced neighborhoods in that area. Some where it appears there are a lot of rentals -- unkempt yards, tons of cars parked all over, etc. Ballantyne is a development and not a zip code; the zip code incorporates other areas of the city, too.

I really do not think that most people in Meck Co refer to Ballantyne and mean only the CC at Ballantyne. It refers to an area, at least to the general public. Maybe to realtors, who are very specific about each development and where each housing area is located . . .they would understand such a distinction.

Perhaps to the people who live at Ballantyne CC, it would make them feel some sort of snobbery to assume that the rest of us understand the "code" (i.e., "we live in/at Ballantyne" really means "we live at Ballantyne CC."

I do not mean any offense to you, 704, as I am sure you did not mean this to sound so pretentious, as you were just explaining what you know to be a distinction to people who live at the CC.

As for me and my neighbors, who are basically natives and/or residents who have lived here more than 15 years . . . to say you live in Ballantyne means - an area. The distinction will be lost on us.

Of course, that is just my personal experience. I live in S CLT and have friends who live "in Ballantyne," both at the CC and in other developments in the area.

Red Feather drive is located in the Copper Ridge Condo Community. It's 5 minutes from AXA. Basically three turns from AXA.
