Who are you to say because someone is outspoken, they are a lunatic?
No. Absolutely not.

Pretty much. If it didn't fit their narrative of the day, or if it included >0 kids moving, they didn't want to hear from anyone with a potential solution.

Absolutely! They can be a great candidate! I'd vote for them if they come to the table with fresh ideas, facts behind their positions, proposals for a variety of topics. But if they come with a single issue agenda, that indicates they would not be a good candidate because they can't grasp the rest of the job.
Merrell - a neighborhood organizer for CAPS.
Maher - a CAPS fundraiser who supported the lawsuit (only until all was lost).
Sides - I don't know, a intellectual leader?
what i find a bit troubling is there are others that are running for BOE spots, and other than announcing their candidacy, haven't said a word anywhere, haven't taken a stand on anything….what is your opinion on those candidates?
I didn't say people who ordered the shirts were members of CAPS or that Maher was a member of CAPS, only that it was a fact that he raised funds that went to CAPS' lawsuit.
I didn't make a judgement about that either. To play your game---So you think giving money to CAPS is bad?
I think giving money to an organization who's cause you believe in is a good thing, for that individual person. There are many causes i don't believe in, but i wouldn't stoop to call their members "Lunatics" (barring they aren't doing anything illegal or immoral)….Again, there was a lot of name calling earlier this year that raised a firestorm, how is this any different?

Twisting words again. You are the one who used the word "lunatic." I merely agreed the term might apply to certain leaders, specifically ones who want to continue their lawsuit when they have no lawyer and have no funds.

TooLogical used "Lunatic Fringe"….how can you possibly know what funds a person has access too????????maybe they have a benefactor, maybe they want to spend their savings….why would you care if they wanted to use their own $$$$?

But Patty, we want know what is going on with CAPS. We've been told to ask our neighborhood leads and have heard nothing. We are reaching out to you as our neighborhood lead, since Sean and CAPSMEMBR are no longer interested in the City-Data neighborhood. What's the deal with the lawsuit and what happened to the money that Allison & Sean Maher helped raise?

So many familar names, so little time...
David, I am not a neighborhood lead, so don't ask me….then again you can easily reach them, but I am sure you don't go on FB and post, you are too comfortable in your own little world here….why don't you ask Sean about the funds, or do you have a theory about that too that you want to claim is "fact"?
... There are a lot of solid debates on many topics and multiple perspectives are always welcomed. But there's no way I'd go ask the Flat Earth Society to participate in any of it.
I'm not saying it means anything, but it "is fact."

Quoting this list again because it is that awesome, too.
Is it just me or does the boy on the left look a little young to have children?
