You will pay less than half of what you pay in Miami for much better coverage. They don't even write policies here the limits they will go down to in Miami.

Spot on. One of my friends recently relocated to South Beach and he about fainted when hit with the insurance costs for vehicle coverage. His motorcycles alone were something around $8k a year. Here they were $1200.

I'm definitely paying less for my car insurance than I was in NY. I pay around $115/month for both vehicles and it's full coverage.

Check with Farm Bureau! They totally undercut GEICO and Progressive. You don't have to be a farmer and they also offer home owners (and lots of other insurance options) at very good prices!

Was pretty cheap in NC but SC is a little bit higher.
