I have relatives visiting from abroad and I'd like to treat them with a nice meal from this region.
Any suggestions?
Thanks and Happy Holidays!

I had family in town in October from NY and I introduced them to Lexington style BBQ, which was a big hit.

When I have my British or Scandanavian friends visiting and we happen to be in Charlotte, we go to a fishcamp. Nothing beats catfish and hushpuppies. They love it. They are also hooked on fried chicken livers. I like the fishcamp way out Albermarle rd. with the whale in front, but there are numerous others. Unfortunately, I have found it hard to get actual good Carolina BBQ in Charlotte unless some good places have opened. I don't personally think that Spoon's is that good.
