With all the hype. I will have to ride it. At least once. I lived thru the intimidator barely. So I'll give it a try. When is the best time to visit Carowinds? To avoid long lines. At least as much as possible.

lol, that was our thought on the Intimidator. Weekdays are best and arriving when they open.
I think we might need to ingest Dramamine before riding this as we wanted nothing to do but lay in the lazy river after the Intimidator.

When I last was at Carowinds my god son was about 4. He rode the little kid rides. We rode the crazy stuff( Intimidator ). 4 years old, way too young for anything over kiddie land rides IMO.

I updated my Flyin' Eye Aerial Photography FB page with some aerial photos I took of FURY today. If you have a FB account, you can see them there. Here is a sneak peek at one of them.

Please note, I had full permission to fly in the area where I was. No rules or laws were broken. Stayed under 400ft.

Great shots. We can also see that the entire front entrance is torn out and the parking toll plaza is moved. It'll take a while to get used to getting into the park next spring.

The Plantation House was demolished and the new rollercoaster will now dominate the front entrance.
