The schools are LEBANON Road Elem, Northeast Middle and Independence High.
These are not the best schools and are not the worst but my realtor told me as more high end homes go into mint hill this is going to help make the schools better. So by the time I have kids and they can go to school the schools should be a lot better than they are now.

You forgot about Bain Elementary in the heart of Mint Hill and Clear Creek Elementary near hwy. 51 and Albemarle Road. Both these schools have great reputations. And as an aside - congrats to the the Independence High School STATE 4AA Football champs are in order. 108 straight wins - this is their 7th state championship - No other team in the nation has this kind of record

Mint Hill Schools
If you live a little further east then you would go to Bain Elementary which is one of the best in the state. Mint Hill middle, and Butler High School. A charter school called Queens Grant is located in downtown Mint Hill and offers a upper level private school education for free if you can get in. They have K-8 at one site and 9-12 at another.
