What is the difference between Waxhaw, Weddington and Wesley Chapel? Is one area better than the other or do they all run into each other and you really don't know where one begins and the other ends. How far would it be to get to the nearest large box store or a warehouse (Costco, BJ's or Sams?). We are not going to driving into Charlotte, so a little out of the way, but close to shopping is a good place for us.

Weddington/Waxhaw/Marvin will all be closer to retail (Blakeny) than Wesley Chapel, although there is a new smaller shopping center at 84 and Potters Rd. Quality of life is great in all areas. The former 3 all have easier access to main arteries like Providence Rd. (Hwy. 16) and Rea Rd. But in any case, Wesley Chapel is very nice as well and I don't think you can wrong in any town. Living in Wesley Chapel will only increase drive times by a couple of minutes, so that's negligible in my opinion.
