What do you have planned here in Charlotte? At home w/ friends - out at an event?

If you are not originally from Charlotte, any traditions you miss - things you cannot find here that you used to enjoy doing for New Year's Eve - such as attending an event somewhere, big fireworks displays, etc.

Share!

I will start off. I had one of my best New Year's Eves while visiting in Monterey, CA - watching a lighted flotilla in the bay, music . . . It was beautiful. I always think of that experience on New Year's Eve.

Yes, not having to drive is a big bonus - even tho you are doing the work playing hostess!!!

Have a great evening! Happy New Year!!!!!

I will do well to stay up and watch the ball drop in Time's Square. DH has been under the weather a bit so we canceled out on plans.

I have heard it said - whatever you are doing - and whoever you are doing it with - at midnite - foreshadows the coming year. Hmmmm. Guess that means I will be in bed, sipping champagne, and watching tv w/ hubby in 2008.
Things could be worse!!!!

Well, you playing chef sounds like a very nice way of celebrating New Year's Eve, even if you didn't plan it that way all along! I know I surely appreciate it when DH steps in and takes over in the kitchen.

He just brought me a nice fresh cup o' java. Sure means a lot to us when our guys are so thoughtful . . .

Happy New Year, Groove!!!! Here's to a wonderful 2008 for you and your honey!!!!
